Rooted in TCM and practical experience, we turn techniques used in real practice into structured teaching that can be understood, practised and passed on.
Learning means being able to put the skill into practice.
Uncle Lim established YOU YUAN REN Health Skills Training Centre to pass on TCM skills and real service experience through practical teaching.
We believe skills can be broken down, demonstrated, practised and refined. Technique involves an understanding of meridians, body structure and responses, as well as physical strength.
Students do more than watch demonstrations, and foundations are not skipped to rush through the syllabus. We focus on understanding, hands-on practice and the ability to complete a sequence independently.
HOW WE TEACH
Learn from practical experience
Teaching combines explanation and demonstration with hands-on work, feedback and repeated practice.
Practice-informed teaching
Course content draws on real service experience to develop practical assessment and technique.
Hands-on guidance
Instructors demonstrate and correct placement, direction, pressure and rhythm in person.
Beginners can start here
Start with basic concepts and techniques, practising each step to clear professional standards.
Practise until you can perform the sequence
We focus on whether students understand the sequence and can perform it, as well as completing class hours.
FOUNDER & LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Turning years of Tuina experience into teachable skills
Uncle Lim began his work with Tuina. Drawing on TCM theory, he has worked with many families and customers seeking care for accumulated discomfort and tension, continuing to observe and refine his approach through practice.
He later developed this experience into teaching that emphasises meridians, body structure, sequence, appropriate pressure and physical responses, so students understand the reasons behind each step.
Uncle Lim leads and oversees the academy’s courses. Content is organised, reviewed and refined through repeated teaching to share practical techniques with people interested in TCM and the health sector.

YOU YUAN REN Meridian Tuina Course
Begin with TCM meridian theory, basic techniques and pressure control, then learn a full-body sequence from head to toe and back to front. The course emphasises practice and includes support for return practice after completion.
LEARNING IN ACTION
Build skills through hands-on practice
Students repeat sequences, posture and technique details with instructor demonstrations, observation and corrections.
TRAINING & ASSESSMENT VENUE
A venue designed for practical clinical training
Beds, working routes, equipment, practice groups and lesson pacing are arranged around practical workflows, helping students become familiar with clinical and practice environments.

Can I learn without previous experience?
Yes. The course starts with basic theory, techniques and pressure control before progressing to the full sequence. Students need to commit time to practical work.
Does the academy currently offer SKM3 courses?
Not at present. The academy has an SKM3 URUT TERAPI assessment venue arranged to national assessment and teaching standards, but SKM3 course enrolment is not currently open.
