02 HANDS-ON CORRECTION

Personal demonstrations and immediate feedback

Students practise hands-on while the instructor observes posture, use of body weight, pressure, rhythm and sequence, making corrections as they work.

  • Watch a demonstration, then practise
  • Receive corrections on posture and force
  • Repeat techniques to build consistency
Learning to adapt techniques and sequence to different physical conditions
03 APPLY WITH JUDGEMENT

Learn to adapt your approach

After learning the full sequence, students practise observing different physical conditions and adjusting focus areas, techniques, pressure and order for practical use.

  • Choose the focus of a session
  • Adjust according to responses

TCM CONSULTATION BASICS

Foundations of TCM consultation

Learn observation, listening and smelling, questioning and palpation to gather information about physical condition, main concerns and lifestyle, then consider areas, pressure and sequence for Tuina.

01 · Ask clearly
Discuss the main concern, when it started, patterns of change, lifestyle and relevant history.
02 · Observe broadly
Gather physical information from different aspects.
03 · Apply to Tuina
Plan areas requiring attention, pressure and sequence.

These consultation foundations support information gathering and Tuina planning. They do not amount to medical diagnosis.
